There are many different workstations in the SciVis Lab and the GVU lab These include SGIs, Suns, PCs and Macs. A detailed list of the systems is available.
There are also many peripheral devices (e.g. tape drives, CD-ROM drives, etc.) around the lab that you may use.
Manuals are publically available on the shelves of the SciVis Lab bookcases.
