I grew up in the midst of a brutal civil war in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. I am proud about my alma mater Chundikuli Girls' College, Jaffna, which helped me to identify my potentials and molded me to become who I am today. 

My hobbies include painting, reading biographies and short stories, and cooking spicy food. I love to travel and enjoy the nature.  I am a big fan of the Sri Lankan cricket team.
