NBA LineupViz is an interactive visualization system for visually exploring how different NBA team lineups performed, in order to better understand how different combinations of players excelled (or not). The user can choose different lineup combinations (from 1 to 5 players) and then the visualization will show when that group of players was on the floor together and how well they did. The top-left bar chart view is sorted by frequency -- which lineups are the most common. The game view to the right shows when a selected lineup was on the floor during the different games. Finally, the scatterplot view in the lower left shows how particular lineups perform with respect to many different statistical measures. The system can show either regular season or playoff games.
