Data distribution and management (DDM) is
concerned with ensuring that messages are
delivered to all federates that have specified
interest in the information contained in the
message. The HLA currently includes mechanisms
for DDM, however the services are specified
independent of the time management services. This
work also is examining the relationship of time
management and data distribution and management
services in the HLA in order to provide effective
data distribution that is properly synchronized.
