Aaron Bobick
Associate Professor, College of Computing

Aaron Bobick is Acting Director of the GVU Center and an Associate Professor
in the College of Computing. His focus is on machine perception of human
activity
and his interests range from computer vision to cognitive science. Aaron
has a
reputation for asking deep and fundamental questions in his research and
building
intriguing intelligent environments to demonstrate his work. One example
is the
"KidsRoom", which turned a room into an interactive environment
that children
could control by their actions (http://vismod.www.media.mit.edu/vismod/demos/kidsroom/).
