The Buzz normally runs on an extra monitor on the desktop. If another monitor is not
available, however, it can also run as the desktop background.
|
The Buzz can also run on a large, public display. Here you can see it running in a
café area.

This collage presents the traffic map harvested from the Georgia Navigator website.
The graphic in the center depicts the speed of traffic on the major
freeways in Atlanta. The cameras on the left and right show live views of
traffic at various locations relevant to a commute from Tech. The image
at the top shows the contents of a road sign that might be passed when
leaving Tech.
|
Here we see a snapshot the current Atlanta weather (well, it was current
when the collage was displayed!).

This collage displays a collection of images from the AP news wire, as
selected and edited by SF Gate's Day
in Pictures editors.

The Buzz periodically displays various online comic strips. Comics displayed include
Pearls Before Swine,

the channel.
|
Various webcams are periodically displayed. This collage can be very
useful if you live in a lab without a window! Webcams tracked include the
view from the Sears Tower in Chicago,
Times Square in NYC, Waikiki beach, the San Francisco Bay, and more!

Here you can see BBC's World News feed. Various stories from BBC's
