In trying to get the FCE pages organized, I noticed a bit of redundancy
wrt the projects.
There seems to be a
.../fce/project_name
directory along with a
.../fce/projects/project_name
What I would like to see is all of the projects consoladated (sp?) in
the
.../fce/projects
directory. This includes all deliverables such as publications, etc.
How you organize your project dir is up to you, but I would suggest at
least something like
.../fce/projects/project_name/pubs
for all of your publications.
Also, I will probably be making minor cosmetic changes to each of the
main project pages (making them more uniform and adding certain features
of the FCE pages, etc). I WILL NOT DELETE ANY INFORMATION - again, these
are just minor cosmetic changes.
Aside from that, since most people are comfortable doing their own
page work, I would like to continue that practice, but would ask that
all new pages conform to a template (created shortly). Apart from
the main project page, this isn't at all necessary, but it will just
add to the (illusion of? :) coherence for all of the FCE pages.
This template shouldn't stifle anyone's creative juices, it's just to set up
the menu, footer, and make the screen so that it's always centered and
600 pixels wide no matter what the browser resolution is set at...

Again, I would just like to move these dirs to the
.../fce/projects
dir- but will wait to do so until I hear from you...
ALSO:
The
.../fce/images
directory will be put to rest soon so make sure if you insist on using
any of those images that you grab them before this friday.
