TOPICS
======
o Software libraries for the QuickCam has been obtained
o There is a grad student (Darrin Bentivegna) that can assist us with GPS
related work
o The basic code for averaging seems to be compiled
However, getting that code working is not a high priority at this time
o Code has been implemented which will clip out certain parts of the
TIGER/Line data set (based on longitudes and latitudes)
o The CGI scripts for time tracking has not been setup, but will instead
be passed to the TA's to implement
o Discussed that it might be better to have Chris help out on other
parts of the project instead of leaving all Visual C++ expertise on
rendering map data
o Since much of this part of the project will be done in Visual C++,
more training needs to be done on Visual C++
o The deliverables that will be ready by the end of the quarter was
discussed, and tentatively includes:
o Requirements Document
o TIGER/Line functionality
o display of TIGER/Line data as vectors
o scaling of vectors
o clipping of TIGER/Line data set file into a smaller file
(so we can get specific areas only)
o road names
o GPS
o Basic positioning integrated with map
o Camera (not integrated with other parts)
o Snapshot of images
o Timestamps
