PhD Student ยท Georgia Institute of Technology

I'm Roy, a PhD student in Computer Science advised by Joseph Jaeger at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I research applied and theoretical cryptography through the lens of provable security.

During summer 2025, I was a visiting researcher at UC San Diego, where I was hosted by Mihir Bellare.

I previously obtained a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (with a focus on semiconductors and hardware architecture) at the University of Waterloo. While there, I was introduced to cryptography by Douglas Stebila and Florian Kerschbaum.
