Getting Started

The IRIS Showcase comes as standard equipment with any SGI workstation. There is an icon for the Showcase in the WorkSpace. Double-clicking that icon starts up the Showcase. You can also type showcase.

Manual Blurb

The IRIS Showcase is a multimedia presentation development tool. It allows the creation of documents which can be printed or displayed on the screen. It is possible to include text, audio, images, and 3D graphical objects in each document. If the document presentation is to be replayed on the screen, navigational controls can be added to help the user view the "slide show". Additionally, simple animation sequences of the 3D objects can be programmed.
