ChannelSelect

DESCRIPTION

This module accepts in a multivariate lattice and produces a single-valued lattice from it. The generated lattice has identical coordinates to the input lattice, and the data portion comprises a single channel from the multivariate data of the input.

This is useful for extracting just one scalar lattice from a multiscalar or vector lattice. For example, if a lattice contains temperature, pressure, and three velocity components in a 3-D volume, this module can produce a 3-D lattice containing only temperature data, or only pressure data, etc.

The multivariate input lattice.

The input data variable, or channel, to be extracted.

Type: Lattice
A single valued lattice with the same shape as the input.
