DESCRIPTION

This module acts as a valve for data. Any kind of data may be placed on the input port. Whether this data is sent out on the output port depends on the setting of the widget parameter.

Geometry data is handled in a special way. Because the transfer of geometry uses a protocol that can be used to specify differences in what was previously sent, dropping data items could cause downstream modules to become confused. This module buffers geometry, and sends the entire description or an empty geometry, depending on the widget setting.

Input data to pass or stop.

Type: Option Menu
Menu Item: Off
Menu Item: On
Switch to control whether data is passed through or not.

OUTPUTS

Port: Output
Type: Generic
Contains the passed through data.

PROBLEMS

Geometry data behaves differently than other types of data. Multiple geometry inputs should not be used with this module.
