- Completed Java Template for VRMidtown
- Tested Java code that interacted with VRMidtown
- Solved previous threading problems on SGI
Problems encountered this quarter
- Problem: JDK version available was too old and could not be used
Solution: After several e-mails and requests for help all machines
were finally updated to JDK 1.1.6
- Problem: Threading errors prevented us from developing
Solution: Hours of research, debugging, and requests for help
resulted in solving some threading errors. Some may
still be present.
- Problem: Compiler errors concerning library paths prevented us
from developing
Solution: After exhausting hours of debugging, help@cc finally
clued us in and made us realize that we were not doing
anything wrong, but that the paths were set up really
peculiar.
