Chariable Trust and Lucinda W. Bunnen, 1996.120 a-d
Commissioned by the High Museum of Art to
take photographs in Georgia in conjunction with
the 1996 Olympic Games, Dawoud Bey brought
a Polaroid 20 x 24 inch camera to Atlanta. He
worked at the Tri-Cities High School, using
students as his models. Bey said, "I want to
challenges prevailing notions about African
American teenagers."
