Gift of J. J. Goodrum and others, 26.9
In 1926, shortly after Hattie High announced
that she would donate her Tudor-style home on
Peachtree Street to become Atlanta's art museum,
this portrait was commissioned. She remained active
in the Museum until her death in 1932. Her house
remained the primary structure until 1955. It was
demolished in 1963. |
