Java provides several layout managers.

We will concentrate here on two of them:
- BorderLayout
- GridLayout

To tell a container which layout manager to use, invoke the method:

setLayout( );

and specify a type of layout.

For example:

To specify a BorderLayout:

setLayout (new BorderLayout());
