I get questions from Ph.D. students who are going to present their Proposal...to whom/how do I announce. Info is on the web page, but I need to update with more explicit directions. In the meantime, here's the process.
Send the announcement with - Title, Chair name, Committee members, then your Abstract to PhD-list@cc...and faculty@cc... Send to me (binder@cc.gatech.edu) so that I can put a copy in your file and add to the Milestones. Send one week prior to your proposal date. Earlier than one week is good.
You will need to reserve a conference room and as you know, they're at a minimum in CCB. Room 354 is an additional room you can use on the 3rd floor, reserving with Pam Halverson (pam.halverson@ece.gatech.edu)
