Instructor Interview
- How do you currently receive feedback from students?
- Do you want more feedback from your students?
- Do you feel disrupted by questions?
- Would it be easier if the questions were queued somehow until you were
ready to answer them -- but they were still associated with the instructional
context?
- Would you rather answer questions individually or have all related
questions answered at once?
- Would you prefer to answer questions slide-by-slide, or at the end
of class?
- How do you determine which slides are effective?
- Are student opinions about your presentation important to you?
- Would your lecture be enhanced by feedback on the student's
understanding of specific concepts?
- Would it be more beneficial if this feedback were anonymous?
- Would your lecture be enhanced with feedback during class as to
whether student's were excited or bored with a particular topic?
- Would your lecture be enhanced with feedback during class as to
whether a student was confused about a particular topic?
- How often would you spend time analyzing feedback from students?
(after each class, weekly, at end of quarter, not at all)
- Would you change your presentation based upon student feedback?
- What kind of information would cause you to dynamically (instantaneously)
change your presentation during class?
- What kind of student feedback information would cause you to redesign your
slides for future lectures?
- Would a slide with little written feedback cause you to form an opinion
about its effectiveness?
- If yes, what conclusions do you draw from that information?
- How do questions affect your time management during a lecture?
