MORALE Tool Description


ACMEServer Version 1.0 (no longer available due to licensing restrictions)


To provide communications infrastructure for information exchange between multiple MORALE applications via the ACME ADL.


ACME Server provides an interface between multiple running applications and an underlying ACME representation.  The communications interface is provided via PBIO (portable binary IO streams) and Dataexchange.  The dataexchange allows redirection and forwarding to allow multiple applications to access a single ACME representation.

ACME Server has a native C/C++ interface. and a TCL/TK 8.0 interface (DEComm) provided for end-user tool use and integration.


Version 1.0 is available for download in Solaris and Windows source and binary distributions.  (Note Beta 0.5 does not include JavaComm).

Operating System Dependencies:

Requires C/C++ compiler for build.  Tested on Visual C++ and egcs 1.1.2

Platform Dependencies:

Limited to those platforms which can run PBIO, Dataexchange and ACMELib.
