  • Aside from Eastern Europe, this region had the lowest level of education, while still very high.

  • In this region, 42 percent described their occupation as being other than education or computers.
Survey question: Please indicate your current household income in U.S. dollars.
  • This region had the largest percentage of mid-level incomes with 47 percent of Web users making $15-50K.

  • This area had the greatest use of local access providers. Educational access was comparatively low.

  • This area had the smallest percentage of Internet users with less than one year of experience.

  • The "no" response was far lower in this region than in any other region. Most other areas had "no" responses at around 30 percent.
