Wendy Newstetter

Wendy C. Newstetter, a Research Scientist in the College of Computing,
received a Ph.D. in linguistics from
Lancaster Unversity, England in 1995.
Her research interests include human computer interaction and design. Her
work concentrates on interactive systems design and classroom strategies
and assessment for design learning. Her specific application areas of
interest include qualitative/naturalistic methods in requirements capture
and systems design. She has authored ethnographic accounts of engineering
design learning, participated as a team member of a freshman design
laboratory and she is a member of AERA and the
American Anthropological Society.
