Spencer Rugaber

Spencer Rugaber
is a Senior Research Scientist in the College of
Computing. He received his Ph.D. from
Yale University in 1978 and worked
in industry where he developed programming language tools, TEN/PLUS, an
integrated environment for interacting with the UNIX operating system, and
environments for improving software productivity. Since January of 1988,
Dr. Rugaber has been at Georgia Tech where he teaches courses in
programming language and systems and software engineering. His research
has concentrated on software engineering, specifically program
understanding and user interface design. He is currently Vice Chair of the
Reverse Engineering Committee of the IEEE Technical Council on
Software Engineering.
