Mary Trauner

Mary Trauner
is the manager of High Performance Computing in the Office of
Information Technology. She received a B.A. from
Indiana University
in 1972 with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science, and an M.S.
in Information and Computer Sciences from
Georgia Tech
in 1979. In 1975
she began working for Georgia Tech, where she assists faculty and students
in the academic and research use of high performance computing facilities.
As a Senior Research Scientist, she assists in preparing proposals for
improving campus computing facilities. In addition, Ms. Trauner is working
toward an advanced degree in
Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
