Lonnie Harvel

Research Scientist II,
Electrical and Computer Engineering

Lonnie D. Harvel is a Research Scientist II in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and their Director of Computer Enhanced Educational Services. He is affiliated with the Center for Signal and Image Processing and the GVU Center at Georgia Tech. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Georgia and a BFA in Theatre from UGA with major tracks in Performance and Costume Design. Mr. Harvel's research interests include applications in digital content creating, Distance Learning, and computer enhanced curriculum.
