Arthur D. Fisk

Arthur D. (Dan) Fisk is currently a Professor in the general-experimental
psychology program and Professor and Coordinator of the engineering
psychology program in the School of Psychology. He received a B.S. from
Ohio State University in 1978
and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois
in 1982. His current applications-oriented research interests include work
focused on understanding optimization of skills training, development of
cognitive and perceptual skills, the effects of aging on skilled and
unskilled performance, and the design of elder-friendly instructional
environments. Dr. Fisk is a Fellow of the American Psychological
Association and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
He is President
of APA's Division 21, President-elect of HFES, and the
immediate past editor of Human Factors.
