Since you're reading this, I assume that you probably browse the World Wide Web frequently. You probably bookmark or remember in some fashion which web sites you prefer to revisit. Did you ever wonder about who else might be looking at the same pages as you? Curious as to which sites your friends like? Ever wondered if a web site was useful to others and therefore possibly useful to you? Do you and your friends swap bookmarks?
Chances are you're not alone. Current management methods of web sites such as bookmark lists often do not provide us with enough information about our favorite sites other than storing the URL for us. The ways in which bookmark lists are used also vary widely, suggesting a need for better information management tools for keeping track of web pages. Additionally, bookmark tools usually only support individual collections, making group collections of bookmarks downright messy and hard to manage.
