We have two workshop papers, one TVCG paper, and one full paper (evaluating the visual literacy of GPT) coming up at the VIS 24 Conference this October.

Big congrats to Hayeong for completing her PhD! She will be a Research Scientist at Western Digital.

John received the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award from the IEEE Computer Society Visualization and Graphics Technical Community (VGTC). Award description and recipients.

We recently published a paper on the role of visualization in contemporary journalism in the IEEE TVCG journal. (pdf)
