/admire, I like it.  It could be a very nice story.  I guess
the only risk when you are actually writing it is you could get
into too many tech details like programming, etc.  8-)

Thanx. I also felt great when I was writing it 6 or 7 years ago.
I had not had a chance to read a lot of English SF then. 

Now after all these years's reading, I lost all my confidence.
I've been outsmarted by toooo many people. These ideas wouldn't
be so brilliant even if I put together a fiction. That's the
major reason I decided to give up. 

Another reason is, as you put it, I've also been afraid of going 
into tech details. That would be too painful. No fun at all. I 
write for fun, not for anything else...

hehe, I especially liked the last part.  How the virus grows superior
than its human-made rival due to that the later one is restricted by
humanbeing.  Also how the virus reach other superior intelligence.

btw, gee, if you post this on New Thread Friend 6-7 years ago, 
you must be some very famous guy on there...

Umm...not really. I wrote the original sketch 6-7 years ago, and
post it on xys-friends in 1997. The mailing list of xys-friends
was created in 1996, btw.
