Snowscape
The same winter which gave me those beautiful ice patterns on the windowpanes
of Skibo also gave me these love drift patterns etched by the winter winds.
Looking through the viewfinder, I wasn't entirely sure I wasn't on the
surface of some remote moon somewhere across the galaxy. Unfortunately, the
exposure isn't quite correct; I forgot to overexpose to compensate for the
vast expanse of white I was trying to capture. However, managing not to shake
the camera as I stood in the bitter cold trying to fumble the controls with
bare fingers and escaping without my Nikon freezing up entirely make up for
the exposure error, since the patterns are what I wanted to capture the most.
