Transformation Mask
In Vancouver, Canada, we visited the top of Grouse Mountain, which overlooks
the city in a splendid view. Part of the exhibits there was a small show
which talked about the local native culture, and the fashioning of a modern
transformation mask by a descendent of that tribe. The mask is hinged
and opens to reveal a second mask inside, hence the transformation or
becoming.
