--> try the IBM ThinkPad 360 PE (486DX2/50) with color.
A great machine in many ways. Image quality is excellent.
Processor speed is ok. But there are also some quirks:
- the parallax is slightly worse than on greyscale devices
with a less thick 'glass' cover.
- the pen-tip friction is lower than on a Wacom PL100V
- too heavy
- too thick (=high) when the lcd is folded over the keyboard to
write on. This is especially a problem when used on a table.
Still, this is a machine which is great for giving demos and doing
data collection in the field. It shows what can be done in the near
future, when color pen computers get still faster, lighter and smaller.
