My plan for the Fall is to fold FCE seminar and Hack Fest activities
together and to involve more people from across campus that bring
important skills that we seem to need but lack in FCE (hardware
fabrication, microelectronics design, industrial design).
To that end, I am proposing that we have seminar/Lab meetings on
Tuesdays and Hack Fest activities on Thursdays, all beginning at
4:30 pm. Tuesdays meetings will be largely discussion and tutorial
oriented and Thursdays will be activity based.
It doesn't matter to me whether people sign up for the class or not.
I just had to do it this way so that I could gain access to Room 102
for a significant chunk of time during the day. I moved Hack Fest
activities to earlier in the evening because in the Fall I will have
a new baby at home and I cannot commit to being around that late at night.
So I'll get Hactivities going and then you can continue to have fun
without me the rest of the night.
Take care,
Gregory
