cheap pen based PC

The IBM PC110 is now available in the US (through a circuitous route)
for $1000. This is a pen based PC about the size of a VHS video
casette (slightly bigger than a Newton). It could run Windows 95,
Windows NT, Linux or any other PC operating system.

I think we should consider using these machines instead of the
Fujistsu PCs, for use in Classroom 2000, and they may also be
competitive in some of the applications for which we are using Apple
Newtons.
