Also, both IBM TJ Watson Labs and MERL, where I have been visiting
this week, have expressed extreme interest in getting some of the
FCE grad students to do summer internships with them. Talk to me
about this when I'm back.

some seeds for future employment -- both permanent (if you're
graduating in the next year) or summer internships. We have 12
high-profile affiliates who support us, in part, to have contact
with our students. We want to do everything we can to make sure
