Rendering Vector Map Info Needed

I'm going to SF next week to play on the new Newtons and would like to push
the envelope by doing some vector map rendering on them.

What data/algorithms do I need in order to do this? I can port the code to
Newtonscript and import the data.

Thanks! I need this info ASAP (I leave Sunday)!
