Darrin Bentivegna is going to be doing a two-week stint on
Cyberguide and he's interested in getting the GPS speaking to
the rendered Tiger map data. He has a background in GPS and
geographic databases, so it is possible that the RWL team
could treat Darrin as a consultant for two weeks and get him
to look into some of the integration issues that the rest of
you don't have time to do right now.

Darrin is going to contact members of the Cyberguide team
sometime this week to figure out what to do with the
integration of GPS and Tiger data. Please be prompt in your
response with him.

On another point, the location of the Fall 96 project notebook
is incorrect. There is a directory:

/net/www/fce/cyberguide/project_notebook

That directory contains the quarter-by-quarter directories and the index.html
file contains pointers to the relevant quarterly documents. You need
to update index.html to create a section for this quarter that points
to your documentation. And move the directory

/net/www/fce/cyberguide/guidefall96

to

/net/www/fce/cyberguide/project_notebook/fall96

so that it obeys the previously defined (but poorly documented)
documentation standards.

Gregory

Gregory
