o Talked with TA
Meeting with TA about Project Plan. He will e-mail us comments on
our project plan Friday.
o Long term plan
Talked about future platforms (New Newtons, palmtops, etc)
o Language issues
Use of Visual Basic or Visual C++ will depend on how much of the
code provided by Kirk can be used, along with what libraries are
available to us
o Dates for documents
The due date for analysis document is tentatively set for 10/25/96.
This document will contain information about usability and problems
encountered. There will be analysis documents for the TIGER database,
Digital Camera, and GPS.
The due date for the requirements document is set for 11/1/96. This
will outline the specific options that will be implemented this quarter.
A preliminary design doc will be due 11/8/96.
The long term plan will be due 11/18/96, and will discuss future direction
and options to be implemented later.
ACTION ITEMS

o Ed will test out the Color QuickCam this week and add due dates and
milestones to the project plan
o Marty has the Garmin GPS 45 and will test it out this week
o Jeff and Chris will try out the Tiger Source code provided by Kirk
o Shervin will track down the location of all the equipment
