Items discussed at the meeting:
* Review of project plan:
1. The emphasis on the initial phase is on communications for
both the Delphi and Newton teams
2. All of the project roles were finalized
3. The following dates were revised:
i. Design Draft final version - due Monday 4/22
ii. Design Draft rough draft - due April 16/17 (email or paper)
4. The design document will also focus on a higher conceptual level
5. The test team is still not finalized
* Jason was assigned the role of software manager
* Michael was assigned the role the equipment manager
* More specific activites for each group were discussed:
1. Delphi Team
i. Spend time actually learning the platform
ii. Examine the map and database/html renderer from last quarter
iii. Look for serial example code
iv. Write small communication apps to prepare for design implementation
vi. Examine alternative hardware possibilities for pc
2. Newton Team
i. Spend time becoming familiar with NTK and newton script
ii. Examine existing Cyberguide code
iii. Write serial apps to talk to the Newtons, then IR,
then communications
* 2 - 3 Newtons allocated to OSL
* Cyberguide will be backed up and Santana cleaned up
Action items for 4/12/96 meeting:
* Design team should meet with Gregory
* Set roles for testing and prepare final testing plan
* Status reports
