Turning in an Animation
Basically, you simply need to turn in your a file containing all the
Samba animation commands that you generate. For example, let's assume
the file is named foo for the explanation below.
To turn in your program (electronically), issue the command (on a CoC
Sun workstation)
~stasko/Public/3158in assign# filename yourlastname
So for example, on the flying logo assignment, you might do
~stasko/Public/3158in 1 foo clough
Notes about the turnin program:
- If you forget what the order of arguments to the command is, just type
the command without any, and it will tell you.
- Remember, programs are due at exactly 3:00 pm on the specified
day. The turnin program logs the exact time this is done, so be
careful. At 3:00:01, it's one class day late. I will be ruthless about
this. (Programs are graded out of 10 points. Each class day late, up
to a maximum of 2, deducts 2 points from your total score.)
- You can overwrite a previous turnin. When you attempt to do so,
the program will query if you really want to do this. If you do
override a previous program, I automatically assume the newer one is
the valid one.
- The logging of your file is based on the account ID. So if you have
multiple user accounts that you use, only send from one of them.
