He is studying the relationship between agency, memory and reasoning as part of his thesis research; his other research interests include natural language understanding, case-based reasoning, distributed artificial intelligence, animal cognition, problem solving, semiotics and cognitive science. He received an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 1995 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. His research involves the computational modeling of scientific reasoning taken from the history of science, and from scientific problem solving protocols.
